Why are you taking part in this challenge?
I am taking part in this challenge to raise money for and bring more awareness to everyone in our province battling mental health issues. We need better mental health initiatives in our province, especially for our vulnerable populations like first responders who often suffer in silence.
Who are you riding for?
I am riding for all of my coworkers who have been diagnosed with a mental illness after witnessing catastrophic events and deaths at work daily. One day it could be me, and I hope there are readily available resources to help me when/if I need them.
