Matt Baker
Current City: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Ride Goal: 500 km by August 31, 2021
Why are you taking part in this challenge?
I’m taking part in Bike for Mental Health 2021 to challenge myself both physically and mentally. I also want to use the platforms available to raise awareness on how important education on this topic is and hopefully make a stride towards releasing the stigma once and for all.
Who are you riding for?
There are some many people I can be riding for but ultimately, I’m riding for those who don’t have the same level of support systems I was fortunate to have when I was in a dark place. Having a safe place and people to talk with is so important and no one should struggle alone.
