Why are you taking part in this challenge?
I’m very excited to ride with Bike for Mental Health this summer! It’s a fantastic way to raise money for local mental health initiatives, increase access to services, and destigmatize mental health. I’m riding for my own mental health, so I can continue to support the mental health of folks I work with.
Who are you riding for?
I’m riding for the 1 in 5 Canadians who experience mental illness or addiction in any given year and anyone who has ever felt alone or stigmatized in their experience with mental health.
