How to connect to & use the Bike For Mental Health App.

Install the App

This is not a traditional app that can be found in the app store, but rather can be saved to the homepage of your phone through it’s internet browser.

The Bike For Mental Health app is how you will view other rider’s progress and submit your rides (include # of KMs & screenshot of the ride mentioned above). 

Installing App on iOS devices:

  • Go to:  https://bikementalhealth.glideapp.io/
  • Tap on the “Share” icon located at the bottom of the page

  • Tap the “Add to Home Screen” button

  • Tap the “Add” button at the top right corner of the screen

 

Installing App on Android devices:

  • Go to:  https://bikementalhealth.glideapp.io/
  • Tap on the notification banner at the bottom of the page (or tap “Add to Home Screen” inside the menu at the top right corner of the screen)

  • Tap the “Add” button on the modal

Recording Your Rides

Keep Track of Your KMs

Each rider will be responsible for tracking & submitting their KMs biked after each ride. Each bike ride must have a screenshot that includes the number of KMs travelled as evidence of the ride taking place.

Some popular methods to track your rides:

Apple Watch

or other activity tracking devices

From there, you take that screenshot and submit your ride through the Bike For Mental Health app.

Submitting Your Rides

After you are done biking, what you will need to do is take a screenshot of your bike ride from the ‘Map My Ride’ app, your Apple Watch, etc – As long as it has the number of kilometers biked on it, you’re good to go. 

From there, you will click the Submit Your Ride button in the Bike For Mental Health App, click ‘Today’s Entry’, enter in the KM biked, record a screenshot of your route and click Submit.
